The Brake Division family. Nisshinbo's Brake Division was formed in 1944 when it began production of friction material. Over the next forty years, it continued to diversify, adding drum brakes, disc pads, ABS, and disc brakes to its repertoire. The last decade has seen explosive global growth as branches opened in Michigan, Thailand, India, Georgia, China and Korea.
